Mohr’s research goal is to improve the health of children impacted by infections in pregnancy. She currently studies congenital Zika virus infection in a translational macaque model. The Mohr Research Group’s objective is to define the infection’s pathogenesis and long–term neurodevelopment to ultimately identify novel therapeutic targets to improve health outcomes.
