Viruses
The Mehle lab studies the replication machinery of bunyaviruses and influenza virus, so-called “cap snatching” viruses. Using biochemistry, molecular virology and genetics, we tease apart the function of the viral replication complex with an ultimate goal to stop infection by these medically relevant pathogens.
